They are beautiful but very difficult to clean and maintain. I have 3 of them. One I have never even unpacked from its shipping box because I have had such a hard time with the first one. You can not vacuum them with an upright, the piling gets caught in the wheel. If you have a canister vac, that would probably work. If not, that leaves taking them outside to "beat" clean them or having them drycleaned. If you have pets or children, I would not really recommend them.personal experience.

IF you still want one after all that, I would suggest being sure that they are not in a high traffic area. I got all three on eBay, all 8'x10'...can't remember the weight off the top of my head though. Two of them are nice ones, 100% wool and were like $249/ea + shipping. The other was a Pottery Barn Teens style and is acrylic.it is actually the easiest one to maintain, though still not great. I think it ran about $89-$99 + shipping.

I don't mean to be so negative about them, I absolutely love them. They are just high maintenance if you have a busy household. HTH.
