Question:I'm renovating my rooM and need some design ideas ! What are some good themes for a teen bedroom ??!?!?!? any help would be apreciated!

Think of something you like to do and run with it. I like to travel so I like decorating my room as if I am on vacation. Haha. If you like sophistication, try a French, Greek, or Italian style room, sticking to one or two main colors like blue and white, with splashes of yellow, orange, or red. If you are adventurous try an african safari style room. Hang a canopy over your bed, stick to an earthy color palate. Hang masks on your walls. Use lots of natural elements, like bamboo rods to hang your curtains. Or go with an Indian theme with lots of spicy colors and intricately beaded pillows and throws. If you like to stay closer to home, take cues from floridian design with bright airy colors, bold stripes and florals, and beachy accessories.
I got a new room a year ago, and got to decorate it however I wanted. I had an idea about the color scheme (red and tan), but no details. I looked at magazines and stuff, and little by little pieced together an awesome looking room! It ended up being kind of a French-style room with tan walls, deep red bedspread, and black accents (lamps, mirrors, and framed pictures of dresses, purses, and shoes. ) It's a very warm, relaxing feel!
*another thought: light blue and an ocean theme is very cool. french doors with white sheer curtains and a queen bed with tall bedposts (and dark wood) would look awesome.

Black and white is a teen theme. Have black things with white accents, or visaversa. Black and red is also a cool theme.

First of all, you should pink 2-3 of your fave colors, and work around them!
Just for this example, I shall pretend you love green, pink, and white. These are the colors your room should contain!
Secondly, pick your favorite pattern theme, such as pokadots, stripes, plaid, flowers, and so forth. If you don't like any of those, you can always choose a theme, like tropical, princes castle, 60's, modenr, futeristic, etc.
For this example, let us pretend you like poka dots, and you wish to have a modern theme.
Now, to make this all possible, you should at least have 400 dollars to spend on your room. Get this money babysitting, from grandparents, or anywhere else!
Okay, you have your clorors, pattern and theme picked out, and you also have money! So now, you should always start with your bedding.
Go to places like pbteen.com or overstock.com or ebay.com or amazon.com to search for bedding.
Find a bedding set with many pillow cases, because the more pillows you have, the better! Also, find a bedding set with green and pink polka dots ona white backround, or something similar.
You should make your bed every morning in the same way it shows on the picture in the advertisement.
Next, lets go into the rug. Now, the rug should be like your bed, but maybe with less colors. Like if your bed has 3, your rug should have 1 or 2!
You could either have a rug covering your entrire bedroom floor, or just have a small rug by your bedside, and one by your desk or couch or something.
Now for seeting. Seeting can be difficult, since you may have a small room and want a big couch, or a big room and want a small one.
But lets pretend your room is small/medium sized.
You couch or you lounge chair or something should be either one color, or have some small pattern. Pokadots in this case!
Hva esomething funly, modern and so your freinds can relax on it!
Now, if you have enough money, by a mini fridge, or a cool lamp or lanterns to hang on your walls!
Don't overdue on junk in your room, and keep everything clean!
Have matching window curtains to, and maybe a coffee table!
