Is combining my kitchen and dining room a good idea?

Question:I have a nice sized dining room, and a very small kitchen, would it be ideal to tear the wall down between the two rooms, make them into one room? Will this be an expensive project?

Answers:
It is a good option if you want to expand the feel of the kitchen. Carry the same flooring and wall color into both rooms. You have to be sure the wall in not load bearing, so check with licenced contractor first. Something else to consider is that you will loose wall space on the kitchen side of the wall you are tearing down. also, it will be considered more casual without a formal dining room. and remember, you will be able to see everything from the table (dirty dishes in sink and on counters).!!

yeah that sounds good it could b expensive make sure there are no load barring walls and use good fluent colors to make the space one big room if you want a more casual and soicial feel or open feelthen git rid of the wall if you have a more classic or elegant feel then maybey you should keep the 2 separate i dunno
