Answers:
Hey, congrats on the new room!

1. Pair your hot pink with lime green - very chic!
2. Def put the couch in there - your parents will love it when your friends aren't all crowded in the living room (as long as you behave)
3. There are several places where you can buy a decent looking couch cover for not much money. Pick a third color, or better yet, something with pink & lime green in it!
4. Nah, bed drapes are not in - how about a screen? Try getting a rice screen, or a bamboo one at Pier One Imports or a similar store.

Have fun!

spend your money wisely because you're 17 and you'll be moving out soon so here is my advice

paint you walls a pretty green that matches the pink
YES! put the couch in
no
no
colors: pink and grey
put the couch in their
get a cover that matches the new wall colors
cover your bed with drapes

have fun
1.well, pink goes with yellow. you know blondes in pink (srry if i seem racism) 2.Yes to hang out you gotta have your space
3. no it may feel weird unless the colours or moods don't go well. 4. no you see it there you hang on to it more. you feel like sleeping on it then. You lie on it and you reconize it's not just a rack to put your dirty clothes on.
If your bed is such a loud color, you'll want something quiet for the walls -- a light blue, perhaps (a light 'anything' will work, really). There's no need to hide a bed, in my opinion. I highly recommend a couch if you have a TV, otherwise it's probably unneccesary. When I lived at home, buying a couch for my room was the single best decision I made for it, I think; it allowed for my friends and I to actually hang out in my room, which we couldn't before.
well since your bed is hot pink id paint your walls a lighter shade of pink. um i cant really tell you if you should put your couch in there because i dont t know what color it is. dont cover your bed if you really want to you could use mesquito netting.
definitely go with the couch, it will come in handy with friends like you said. Everything else is up to personal taste. You may not want to go through too much work if your already 17 and going to college next year.
1. pink, white, purple, blue, green, or aqua
2. yes
3. yes I think it purple, or yellow would look nice.
4. no why cover your bed

glad i could help, hope your room looks nice!
I would paint the walls a light pink

Yes, put the sofa in there, and if does not match the room buy a slipcover for it.

no, don't cover up the bed with a canopy, if that is what you mean... just a comfortor and maybe some throw pillows.
1. color choices-- pink looks good with a lot of colors if you are going bright then orange lime green blue but if you are going into a darker colors black looks good also with hot pink
2. should i put the couch in there?-- i would put the couch in there i kno i always complain when i have friends over b/c we have no where to sit.
3. should i cover it with a color thing over it and if the couch does not match your room them...buy some sheets and like sew them onto the couch
4. should i cover my bed with drapes so it doesnt look like its their---that depends if you want your room to look my like a "living room" then yea but if you want to be able to tell that it is your bedroom then no but i do think it would be cute with drapes
no windows? well color is truely a matter of personal opinion but i do recommend calmer colors that do not shout out to potential guests. if you absolutely love that hot pink you may try to combine it with greens, tans and white or pinks, yellows and white. if you do not like white then i'd suggest perhaps an off whie or beige. also a splash of blue may liven up if you find repetitive tones annoying. whatever the combination and where you want to put the colors do make up your mind before you paint anything... if you plan on entertaining friends in your bedroom then i'd highly suggest the couch and television and some sort of space efficient table(s) for snacking and beverages. if you feel that you'd like your sleeping area to be separate from your entertaining area you may consider arrangement of furniture to be a more mature idea than a canopy bed (unless you can find something that screams regal sleeping quarters and not princess baby bassinet). if you have enough room to arrange the guests facing away from your bed or some kind of sectioning without causing problems with manuverability then do so. if you don't have quite that kind of space then don't worry about the bed visibility but draw visual focus away from the bed. in order to do that create a focul point near the sitting area. try to draw the eye there and friends will forget you have a bed in there. with no windows be sure to keep the room as open (but not empty) and well lit as possible. look up some things online. once you have an epiphiny run with it and don't be afraid to compromise with yourself. original ideas are great, but they are a foundation. build it up and let it evolve.
so what with the bed over there - shouldn't cover it, but show it!
get some fresh white & softer pink cushion or pillow case .. fill in the bed with different shade of pink-

while the wall are in white wash, keep the balance of the room.

yes, put in the sofa- and get fresh color for it, or just the cushion spread ... dont forget the carpet around the sofa, so you girls can chattering on the floor too

white-pink-light wood color- and some accent color, such as: orange, green apple, or even fuschia
If you like HOT pink, then you can get couch protectors that color or a color to match.Try a footstool in front of the couch as well...If you want bright go for a green or orange to match if you want darker you can do black and white for a really nice look. Say you go black/white...Cover something (old that your parents have) that can be used as an end table by your couch. Then put a Black/White lamp on it. Black and white pictures on the walls, And they have little things that you can cover your bed with--it's a ring that lets light, mesh drapes flow around your bed. (Black would be best for this) I've seen them for $15. A black rug would tie it all in. If you wanna go the extra mile get some cool vintage black and white pillows that reflect your personality.
