open the door throw paint on the walls and dirt on the floor and hang big speakers every where
How about bright orange and lime green? You could do half the walls orange, then half the walls green, I did something like that a few years ago, and it was really cool, except half the walls were lime green and half were aqua.
Anyway, something bright is always cool, then you could get a matching door curtain that's like dark purple, aqua, and green (I've seen them at Target). Then, you could get a matching floor and/or desk lamp.
I would suggest that if you get a new bedspread, that you get something kind of neutral, so that the next time you paint your room, it will still match (my comforter is denim)
Have fun!
What colors do you like? Think of some colors that you like and also talk about this with your friends to get some ideas and talk to your parents. Watch TLC and Discovery Home and DIY and HGTV for more details. Go to Lowes or Home Depot for more ideas and help. You can also go to Michael's and Joanne Fabrics and Art van and other furniture stores or thrift stores. Get paint, a new bed, and desks, fabrics, rugs, or whatever you need.
hi devyn..haha
just do it with the things you like... if you like pink do some of it in pink if you like cheetas you could do it in that. the one thing that i can tell you to do is put some pictures around the room that always makes someone realize that hey this is a pre-teenagers room.
What is your hobby? What do you like? Try using the things that you like the most in your everyday. Then try creative ways to bring that into your room. If you like surfing, use surf decor, or horses use them, dogs or cats? Or maybe princess, or sports. Let me know and I'll give you some ideas.
Pink and Brown or
Light Green and Brown
Geometric shapes?
I love the canopies for over the bed. They are inexpensive and Anna's Linens and other stores carry them. Also, fun throw pillows, framed photos of family & friends, candles, small fountains, funky mirrors (try Ikea), throw rug, rocking chair, large floor pillow if you have the space for it.
