What is the difference between rattan and Lloyd loom?

Question:To my eye, Lloyd loom is less substantial and bulky (a good thing) but my wife reckons it is "grannies" furniture. Which would be most practical in a sun room, used as a play area by three children?

Answers:
Rattan is a material that is derived from a specific species of palms, used for making woven/wicker furniture. Lloyd loom is a trade name for a specific manufacturer of ,...woven/wicker furniture :-) .but, Lloyd loom actually use looms to make their material, which is then fitted to frames.
