How do i find an old crown paint chart, i dont have tin,dont have name but would regonise name/color on sigh?

You may be able to find an old colour chart at a retailers,wholesalers but I would try finding Crown paints on the internet and email them. Give them as much information as you can and you'll probably find they'll be pretty helpful. Might save loads of time visiting/ringing endless shops/trade outlets.
you will have to visit a crown decorators centre. we have one where we are, so try looking in your yellow pages. good luck
probably not if the paint is old, sunlight and time change the hue. your best bet is to take a piece down, get it color matched, and then re-install the sample
