Does anyone know how to make your antique silverwares sparkling again?
Question:I'd like to put my mom's silverware on a display cabinet. Its a shame to hide those in a storage room since those are antiques and really beautiful! Can anyone please tell me how to make it sparkling again?

Go to ACE Hardware or the Home Depot and ask for a very good silver polish. Follow directions and the silverware will shine and sparkle.
They do have silverware polish for that & i've used toothpaste but for something that u want to last b/4 u get it sealed in a frame... go for the silverware polish
OK there This thing don't know if you heard of it you can get it at a drug store or a food store its called tarnex i don't know if i spelled it right but that's how it sounds.use rubber gloves when using it and a mask it sells like a toilet that's been used 999,999,999,999,999,999,999,90... times and hasn't been flushed if that don't work take it to a professional buffer.
here is a old old southern Granny's passed down to me recipe that really works. try it and it is completely non toxic
get a bread pan or pot . line it with aluminum foil.. take a box or two of baking soda, make a layer of basking soda.... good sprinkle. lay your silver ware in it. pour hot water on it and watch the crud bubble away....
don't laugh it really works.... it does a beautiful job
Many a times i have cleaned bronze and silverware with lemon. You have to rub it on the item continuously. All the rust and dirt then starts coming off. Another tip is to put in some vinegar in boiling water and boil your silverware in this water bath for some time. Then leave it over night immersed in the same water. In the morning when you rub it with your regular washing agent it would become shiny and clean.
