How to remove paint from glossy tiles?

Question:I desperately need to remove paint from my bathroom tiles. Is there a remover that's non-toxic and safe to use? Thanks for your advice!!

Answers:
I've used a paste of baking soda and water. It is non abrasive and should do the trick. Hope it helps.

razor blade
If the tiles are ceramic you could use a heat gun. They look like blow dryers but much hotter. Just turn it on, point at the tiles and using a metal putty knife and wearing a thick glove, scrape off the old paint. Do be careful!
I agree with both. But if you do use a razor blade, make sure your tile is wet so it won't scratch the tile. Do it gently. If it is latex, just softening the paint and using a terri cloth should do the trick.

If it is oil based, do not use any chemicals as it will dull the gloss.
Use Razor Blade on wet tiles. I think if you try anything else you will damage the color of the tiles!
it would take a while but the razor blade would be your best i was thinking a paint scraper but my hubby says that would ruin the tile.
It is called OOPS you can get at Lowes, or Home Depot. Some local hardware stores carry it.
"Goof off" is easy to find and works great but I would hardly call it non-toxic. Depending on your manual dexterity it could be safer than razor blades!
