Best way to put a poster up except for that blue putty stuff?

buy the tape that is double-sided. If that doesn't stick, I'd just use scotch tape.
Go to a department store like Fred Meyers or WalMart and get an inexpensive poster frame. Frame and poster are lightweight and only take a very small nail or adhesive picture hanger to do the job. The picture hangers are water soluble so they can be easily removed if you relocate. A small nail hole can be repaired by rubbing white toothpaste (not gel) into it and cleaning off the surrounding area so it doesn't show.
