Bedroom problem...?

Question:We have quite a large bedroom, (about 4 x 4.5m)which has to double as my hobby room, (painting and drawing etc) until we can afford an extension. Any ideas on how to keep it looking tidy and pleasant?

Answers:
Storage?

Get a cleaner in twice a week
use a screen . you could paint this yourself to make it look like it was not there!!
Is it possible to divide the room visually to make it look that separate spaces for the bedroom and hobby room? Use furniture placement, maybe a book case or dresser to act as a wall. Or hang retractable curtains in the center of the room. Or use plants. A rug can also anchor one living space and make it seem separate from the other.

A good storage system for your crafts would also be important. Put everything away when it's not in use.
Get some storage boxes, they come in some really nice designs and are not very expensive. put your art stuff in them when you have finished using them for the day and the room will still look nice and tidy. Or even get one big chest which will go with the room to put eveything in. It will look nice!
Buy a screen, like the ones you can buy for undressing behind they are really nice looking and you can put your crafting stuff behind that.
Have plenty of storage for all the painting and drawing materials, so they aren't all over the floor/room, you could put up a screen to keep the two areas as private as possible. Make sure all the art/hobby stuff doesn't find its way into the bedroom area of this room, otherwise it will look like a disaster.
Try to keep it simple but the curtains should attractive the wall colour should match with the curtains the bed with heavy bedcovers the floor shoul be polished thoroughly
