I need help getting crayon marks off a white painted wall can anyone give me a easy solution?

Question:i tried the mr clean super erasers, and the crayon marks arent budging.

Answers:
My mom and I have always used comet cleaner to remove marks on the walls. Get a cloth wet, put some of the comet on the cloth to make a paste. Rub the area and then wash off the abrasive cleaner with a clean cloth.

You could try putting a cloth on the wall part and then a hot steam iron on the cloth --it may transfer it over to the cloth--also steel wool, but you will have to paint over it if you use that.
use a magic eraser u can get them at wal-mart
If the super eraser doesn't work, then I would paint over it. Then I would rid the house of the crayons that caused the damage, and replace them with washable crayons and markers. It happened to me, too!
boil some water and apply to the wall with a cloth. (Careful, because the water is boiled and obviously very hot!) Crayons are made of wax and the heat/hot water will melt it away safely and preserve your paint. Good luck.
Some stuff called 'Opps'
Try a pensil eraser!
Use a blowdryer to heat up the wax on the walls then take a smooth clothe with some baby oil on it and wipe off the wax
spray WD40 on wall wipe off with clean cloth
Try super strength Formula 409. Do not use the concentrated. It got permanent marker and crayon off my walls.
Try heating with a hairdryer and wiping immediatly with a soft cloth, has worked in the past for me!
Plain white, basic cheap-o toothpaste. The fancy ones leave color stains which is why you want old fashioned white paste, not gel. It will erase crayon, pencil and even grease if you catch that quick enough. Just put some on a clean damp rag and rub the crayon away. Then when gone, wipe off the paste with a clean wet rag.
Try using hairspray it works wonders with crayon.
If non of the above work, try using the orange gritty soap that mechanics use. i clean grease, pen, shoe marks, and just about anything off walls with it. very useful and it smell good.
Orange products are a great way to remove crayon, wax, grease from most surfaces. I have been successful with removing crayon from the walls, table tops and even the dryer. My favorite is De-Solve-It. It comes in a spray that you can also use to get those grease stains of your clothing.
all i do is get soap, a cloth, and SCRUB!
Baby Wipes.. You'll be amazed at what baby wipes will get off..

Shima
magic erasers! they are the best for white walls and counter tops.

Having 3 boys and a husband I use them all the time!

And to get permanent markers off the skin use baby oil. Just soak a cotton ball and gently rub till its all gone. If lots of marks keep using a fresh soaked cotton balls after it gets covered in color. Also works on temp tattoos.
use windex
Avon Skin so Soft
Believe it or not white vinegar, I have 7 children..we go through alot of sponges and vinegar
use the Mr.clean magic eraser
I have a two year old and a three year old. Try using 409, or white distilled vinegar. Neither should damage the paint, but the crayons don't stand a chance! Also, you can try REALLY HOT water, as it kind of melts the wax in the crayon to help remove it. I hope this helps, I know it is frustrating! Best of luck to you!
i'm shocked they didn't work. try one of the "imitation" brands. they are cheaper and more effective sometimes. We've used 3M brand's "Easy Erasing Pads." they clean up stains on the stove, oven, coffee cups and tea mugs, scuff marks on floors- you name it. Check the website for coupons. they sell in normal supermarkets
You will have to paint it. First use Kilz paint, either water or oil based. I prefer the oil based because it puts a barrier up to prevent bleedig. It may still take a few coats. The cover up with the same color and style wall paint used in the house.

Good luck, we are doing this right now ourselves. There is really no easy way.
Try a hot blow dryer to melt the wax and wash it with warm water.
Try a very soft scrub brush and some Oxiclean powder with a little water. Make a sort of paste and smear it over the crayon marks and softly scrub with brush. Let stand for about 5-10 minutes then wipe clean.
First and the most important step is to use a rubber spatula to scrap off the top layer of crayon, be careful not to make additional smudges when you do this. Clean the spatula off as you are scrapping. Second, I use a clean dampened sponge and a small amount of baking soda. Scrub the wall and make sure that as you scrub you are rinsing the sponge so as not to apply more crayon back on. Wipe the area clean with a clean damp sponge. Third, I have a talk with my kids to explain the difference between coloring on paper and walls!
I gave this solution to another user a few months back and it earned me the best answer because she tried it and it worked. She tried it on black magic marker and it took it off. Sunlight bar soap. This soap has taken stains off a shirt that had been there for months. My sister-in-law gave me this cotton shirt that had a black mark on it, right in the middle of it, she said if I could take it out I could have it. I got it out and she was amazed. Try it, it works like nothing else and its not a chemical. good luck and let us know, kat..
Or you might try plain ol' white toothpaste.
I used windex to remove crayon from my kids walls but make sure you use al all ready damp cloth. Use luke warm water to get the cloth wet then spray a small spot of windex on the crayon area. Whipe away gently pressing to hard could alter any paint on the wall.
