What's the wallpaper strip or border at the top of a room called?

Question:I KNOW that the wallpaper border at the top of some rooms has a name besides "border" but none of my friends have any idea what I'm talking about. Can anyone help me? I'm not talking about molding or anything wooden or plaster...it's wallpaper edging that goes at the top of the wall around the room. It's very common, but I just know I've called it something besides plain old "border." Seems like it might be a French name? or maybe not. Any suggestions ?
