How do you paint a room when two walls meet. We are using two different colors so it is kind of complicated.?

Question:There is a section of the Den where we are using a light sage color for one wall and a chocolate color for another wall. I have tried tape and edgers but it still bleed through and does not look even. Any suggestions?

How about using a piece of decorative wall trim? You could paint it a contrasting color or stain it to match other wood in the room. Then just fasten in place directly over the seam where the two paints meet.

You should do your light colour first. It's better to let it go over the dark colour by 1/4inch. When dry take your dark colour and with a good brush start cutting into your light colour, being carefull not to go too close.Let that dry and start over you will be surprised how much easier it will be to get that little bit closer for a professional look.
