Best flooring.?
Question:The house that my family lives in was built in the 70's. It has thick (I want to say cherry paneling) throughout. We live about 10 miles from the beach and have 3 dogs. At the present time we have berber carpet and was wondering what type of floor would be the best. I would love to have wood (fake) flooring.Would that be too dark?

If you have large rooms and plenty of natural light, the wood shouldn't be a problem.
I would suggest bamboo flooring. It's inexpensive, durable, and renewable.
Oh yeah, plus it's beautiful.

Wood laminate would be good; it shouldn't get as scratched a regular woord flooring. Also, they now have cool colors for lineolum flooring - the kinds in schools. You might be able to find a nice complimentry color to go with the cherry paneling. Good luck!
