How much do I or am I supposed to tip a glass window installer?
Question:We ordered windows from a company & they are sending out someone to install the windows on my house. We are getting about 7 windows done. Any answers would be greatly appreciated. Do I tip & if so how much?

I am an installer. I can`t really complain about my wages. I also never complain about a tip either(who would).
Wether or not one is offered is really up to you. If you feel the the installer went out of his way or above and beyond the call, by all means hand him a few bucks. A soda or a beer if the job`s finished is also a nice gesture.
These contractors get paid good money for jobs like this. A tip is not necessary.
it depends on the quality of work he does, his attitude, and how fast he finishes his work... if all of these are good i would say about $20-30. keep in mind that he gets payed regardless if he's tipped or not.
If it were me, I would not tip them. You can offer them a beer or soda.
