Help redecorating my room?

Question:Im redecorating my room this summer, and i need some inspiration. I've been looking online for good sites on redecorating, but i can't find anything interesting. I'm thinking bright colors, but nothing overwhelming. I'm a teenager, so i'm not looking for something completely adult, but also not something childish.
One color theme that i came up with was inspired by a marketplace that i visited when i was in St. Martin (in the carribean). It's got coral, blue and teal.

So baisically could you give me some websites with color themes and decorating ideas for people my age? Any of your own ideas would be great too.

Ask your parents to take you to any home improvement store and get paint samples. Hang them on the wall with blue painters tape (so it doesn't ruin the wall). Pick the colors of your room, paint it, then figure out what else it is that you need to make you feel like you're in a brand new room. Paint is CHEAP and even if you only paint the walls, your room will have a different feel!
you can go on homedepot.com or walmart.com or most of all target.com
HGTV and Style Network both have links on their websites for redocorating ideas and they are usually inexpensive and fairly easy to do. Good luck! And those colors sound wonderful for a teenage room - calming and relaxing but yet bright enough to be eyecatching.
when home decorators on the shows on tv redecorate they use bits and pieces of what the person enjoys in their life. If you like music then place what looks like records on your wall. If you like playing music yourself then have a picture of that musical instrument plus key notes on your wall. If you like cooking then have a picture of fruits and vegetables or some dish you like on your wall. If you have thought of a career you would like some day then put a picture for inspiration, or even draw or paint a picture yourself (your own creation) for your wall. Whatever colors you enjoy then paint your room that color (but add a lot of white so it won't be overpowering), and add interesting color sheets to match (you can even rit dye them to the color you want. If the room gets too overpowering then bring in white furniture or leave yourself lots of open space so you can see the light colored wall to make it look like you have more space. I saw a home once with teal colored draperies (not too many places use teal) with a pattern in it and it looked gorgeous. I don't know about coral but I know pale yellow and tan go with it well.
go with a beach theme nice colors and look under murals..they have some really neat stuff for rooms. the beach has the blues and browns and corals . good luck
go to spencers
they have a lot of cool stuff
or go the benjaminmoore.com and see the "color moods".
