Where can i find a cheap upholsterer?

Question:

Answers:
Yellow book!

You can ask friends if they had anything done; or know a designer you can ask. If you use the yellow pages, go look at their shop & ask to see pieces they have done. Take a picture in with you of the item you want recovered and ask for a general estimate. Any repairs of the frame will be extra as will having the pillows or cushions redone to be fluffy (a down envelope wrap over foam is common for comfort). Adding cording will make the cost slightly higher also. Other than labor, the fabric will be the most expensive item but one where you have the most control (cost per yard of the fabric). Sometimes you can take a community college workshop on recovering a piece of furniture.
