What can I use to join 2 single beds together as one?
Question:Two single beds joined together
Answers:
duct tape
It depends on the Head Boards I guess. You can just pull them together and tie them together with a rope or heavy wire. I would use wire and take pliers to make it good and tight. The problem may be two mattresses with a crack down the middle. You could buy a Regular Mattress or maybe some type pad that cover the crack.
I would suggest using some sort of clamps underneath the frame, in the center to hold the two together or getting one frame to accomodate both that has a "lip" on both outer sides to keep them from drifting right off of it. I would then purchase the thickest mattress pad you can find for a king size bed, maybe even 2. Prior to putting it or them on, try stitching the the mattresses together along the piping where they meet w/ a whip stitch using the toughest upholstering thread & needle you can find.
Could possibly look into finding a 6 in wide industrial rubber band that would stretch snuggly around the two mattresses holding them tightly together.
Just guessing but maybe??
with a regalur size mattress
simply fix hinges under the bed- under the joint ..
simply lock when u need to joint,
also simply un-lock for having 2 beds
if u need more secure, fix on the head rest too, for some bungy jumpy action!
