How do i calculate how many squares of vinyl siding i would need to side my house?

Question:

Answers:
This is what you do. take the measurements of the exterior sides of the house(length x width). This will give you a total square feet needed. Divide that number by 100 and you will have the number of squares needed. Do not deduct for windows and doors, you will need some for waste. Hint: when ordering your siding, tell the person how many windows and doors that you have, and they will deduct accordingly.

width times height in feet add 10% for cuts.
