How much would it cost to re-carpet my bedroom?
Question:i really wanna recarpet my room but i dont know how much it would cost me. My dad said that if i want to i would have to pay! i dont mind that at all, i just wanna know hoe much it would cost to get some plain white carpet in my room. i hate my light, girly, purple carpet. about how much would it cost for regular white carpet and how much would it cost for hard wood floor for a 10' by 15' bedroom??

Well to carpet my efficiency apartment (of course the complex gets a deal in buying in bulk) it would cost $150. I know because I asked the instlalers. I would neer suggest white because it gets dirty so fast. Usually in apartments they choose a tan, beige light brown, blue or seafoam. When I was growing up I had a large rose patterned rug with some black in it. It made the room look smaller and nothing I spilled on there was ever noticeable. White rug will turn yellow in time. Hard wood flooring is expensive, plus it would have to be varnished, you'd have to move all your furniture out while it would take a long time to install and varnish or plastic coat, etc. where would you put your stuff in the meantime? Anyway, some people use the wood squares, but those get loosened and sound clicky sometimes. I'd suggest a rug with some nap (not looped) and an under the rug sponge mat so your feet won't get tired walking on it.
