does anyone have any cute and orginal way to display pictures??
Answers:
since it sounds like you have a ton of pictures, a really fun, easy way to display your pictures is take 2 screws or mounts and place them any distance apart you want on a wall <from corner to corner, or just a couple feet, whatever you want> Run a metal wire between the 2 mounts and then buy photo clips and attach the pictures to the wire. this way you can constantly be changing them. its kind of an industrial look but it will give you a clean look to your pictures, and give you the ability to be changing them as frequently as you like. Also if you went on a trip and just got back, you can put them in cronological order across the wire.
Try to keep your frames similar in style. You could use all black frames in different sizes and make grouping on a designated wall like a gallery. You can convert them into all black and whites too. Try a symmetrical or asymmetrical placement.
when u r out to the garage sale s look for old windows that came from old door with like doors have 6 or8 8 by10 windows hang the old door or window with the pic s its more of country look dont paint it the older looking the better enjoy steve
I like to use the glass framless frames that you can find at craft stores like Michael's or Richard's. They are inexpensive so you can buy several to put up a matching collection on the walls. I've bought a pad of nice drawing paper that is the same size as the "frameless" frames to put under the pictures to create a uniform border around all the pictures. You don't want to have to cut the paper to fit the glass because you just can't do it as precisely as it should be. So, buy the size pad to match the glass frames. A little double-sided tape with hold the pictures in the middle of the paper.
