Egyptian cotton sheets help.?

Question:I've been thinking of getting some but I am a bit lost on how to choose the right ones. I need info how the difference between the amounts of threads and the durability of the different kinds. Another question is, what is the price range and where can I usually find good quality of these sheets. Any extra info is greatly appreciated, thank you.

Answers:
Higher thread count makes such a huge difference. Also, consider mid-range colors. Too light they stain, too dark they fade. Try overstock.com. They often sell them. Enjoy! Good sheets are so worth it.

I do not know where you would get Egyptian cotton sheets. I bought some sheets at JC Penny's several years ago and they feel like butter they are so soft.

They are 1200 thread count. That means there are 1200 threads in 1 sq. inch. The higher the thread count the softer the sheets. Higher thread count sheets do not peal and get little sheet pellets with continued use. They do however sometime tear because they get softer with repeated use and laundering.

You can't beat good soft sheets. They do get expensive though. But it is worth it if you take care of them.
