What do you think about bathroom wainscoting?

I personally like it, in fact, I just had my husband install it in ours. I put it up a little higher than chair rail heigth, painted it pewter brown with heron plume (a shade of white) above it. I decorated the room with an African them, woven wood shades, elephant ear plants and a few large vintage posters of giraffes and elephants framed. It looks GREAT and I get lots of compliments.
I think that if you're not ROCKING THE MULLET THEN WOOD WILL NOT HELP YOU!!
You'll just end up a pathetic amorphous mass of gelatin quivering on the floor!!

It is actually a very hot design trend right now. Of course the tile and stone manufacturer's love it because they sell way more as a result. But, it can be as simple as running tile up the wall halfway, to creating art with several tile selections. Check out Walker Zanger's website for some ideas.
I think, it is great - i have pink wainscoting in my bathroom and it is too hot :))
Very nice and great resale. Keep it to white, don't paint it crazy colors. Just simple and clean. good luck!
