Lucky bamboo?

Question:my luck bamboo's stem is turning yellow. it is setting out of the sunlight in my bathroom in the same place it has been for the last year. it is also grouped with other bamboo that is doing just fine. what do i do?

Answers:
Mine did the same thing! I had 3 of them in a vase in front of the window on top of the toilet. One of them turned yellow & felt hollow. Here's how I saved it. Cut off the yellow part of the stalk, light a candle (white looks better) & drip melted wax over the cut you made, making sure you completely seal the cut. Then put it back in your vase. Change the water too. If you have a stem on the dead part that's still green, cut it off the stalk & put in a separate vase with water. It'll grow roots in about a month. This is what I've done & I still have my plants. Plus a new one with the stem.

Whatever you do ,dont plant it outside. it'll take over and you will NEVER be able to get rid of it.
Sometimes bamboo will get this white chalky stuff all over the stalk where it goes in the water. Clean it off really well and clean your container too. Sometimes i put mine in the shower to clean the leaves too although if yours is smaller, the sink would work too. Dont be afraid to scrub it!
