About computers in the sitting room?
Question:is it a nice way to do a computer in a sitting room where there ae sofas and a tv? your opinion pls

Yes, I think it is pretty cool. Then you have everything available to you. You can play music or watch vids from your pc from the comfort of your favourite sofa.
I have a laptop than gets put away when not being used. I bought a small stable with wheels that it lives in and it can easily be moved around the room, and when the laptop is nto being used, it is just another table.
Get a media PC you can plug into your TV - that's even better still.
I wouldnt like a desktop! However, a laptop is apt!
Great idea! Ours is in the corner, with a lovely swivel chair so I can watch telly at the same time.

I have a PC desk in my living room, a nice pale beech colour unit that fits into the corner of the room. It a kind of triangle shape that fits the right angle of the room.
If it wasn't there i would never see my wife in the evenings!!

The colour fits with the decor, we have family photos and ornaments on it, it is just another piece of furniture.
Think it came from MFI (UK furniture shop) for around 150pounds.
how about a computer armoire. You can close it up when not in use. Or a nice computer desk. A lot of people have them in the living room.
It's your house and you want to be comfy! So do what you want!! If people don't like it, tell them to make the housepayment and then they have a right to complain...lol
mine is on a corner unit in my living room. it fits in well with rest of the room and i can monitor whats going on when my kids and hubby are on it too. the kitchen is too cold (i saw your other question)

I have my computer table tucked under the stairs area
i have plenty of room and its out of the way i can still talk to my family or listen to the TV .
its ideal for me
