Building Regulations UK - Do cement flaunch flashings meet with building regulations?

Question:EG - Chimneys, adjoining brickwork etc.

I'm sure they dont and i'm also sure that a suitable lead (or similar) flashing is supposed to be used in place.

Can anyone confirm this?

Answers:
check with your local building control ..i never use cement flauchings but i have seen plenty of it ..funny enough no building inspector i have used have ever looked up to see if i used lead or not ..if flauching was used it would still need soakers under neath

need lead flashing. front apron, soakers, step flashing, back gutter and cover flashing
they do not meet current building regs but if the building is old then they can still be used.
