I have a new foam backed linoleum kitchen floor..?
Question:need something under my moveable island that will properly distribute its weight so it won't make large impressions on my new floor. Any intelligent ideas..please!!

i would use a piece of plywood thats painted to match your floor so it doesn't stand out. you just have to make sure the dimensions are the same
If it has small wheels under it, you can place these things that look kind of like those disks you place under cups on a table. I believe they're called coasters? They work great for this exact purpose.
home depot has some casters that slide and look good. different sizes,too!
