How do I patch a steel front door that has rusted through?

remove door... take to dump... buy new door... install it... drink beer and admire your work.
Well everyones money is tight so.
If its just a small hole you can bondo/puddy it .
If its still a solid door but bad you can get metal shop to bend tin to make a new bottom of the door. Screw in place. They probably have scrap laying around and you could make your self .
If the door is really bad I'd patch for now.And then start looking for a used replacement. Most steel Doors if right sized are easy to move hinges if needed.
I would use some epoxy putty.

After that, you can coat the door with RustSeal to prevent any future rust.
