Can you recolor your bathtub?
Question:my bathtub is a ugly blue can or is there anything that i can change the color with?
Answers:
Yes, they sell epoxy paint for steel/cast iron tubs at your local hardware store. Talk to someone there that knows what they are talking about and will point you in the right direction. Good luck!
not in a way that you would want anyone else to see
There is a kind of enamel paint that is used in showers. But I don't know if it would work in bathtubs.
Yes, you can get almost any bathtub refinished for a reasonable price. My father had his changed from a horrible pea green to a nice eggshell color. And they can add non-slip texture to the bottom of the tub if you wish. Google "bathtub refinishing" for more info.
google it.
There are plenty of companies that can resurface your tub.
Just a sample.

Yes, this can be done. There are companies that will do it for a fee.
DO NOT HAVE YOUR BATHTUB SPRAY PAINTED. I had it done 2 times professionally. Here is what happens over time. You drop a bottle of shampoo or something else while showering and it can make a hairline crack in the paint. If you take a bath and sit in the tub for a while, the water gets into the crack and the paint peels. I had the sweetest most honest guy do my bathtub over 2x because of this situation. I sold this house and I heard the new people ripped the tub out and did the whole bathroom over. They have a new system now where they put an insert right over the original tub. That would probably work just fine, but it's not cheap.
Don't your tub will not look the same. You can actually tell that it was painted over.
