I live in a semi-detached house. if i soundproof the adjoining wall, will noise still carry into their house?

Question:i am a musician and i dont like to disturb them at night

Answers:
check your local hardware store, they sell a foam you can basically drill a few small holes in your wall, fill it with the foam and plaster the holes, nearly completely soundproofs a room, it would be best to do it on ALL sides if you are a musician so besides not disturbing others, you also will not be disturbed by street noise

Yes.
Almost certainly. In general sound is only stopped by heavy materials such as brick and stone which are often impractical to introduce into an existing building.
