What indoor plant is goodlooking and easy to care for?

Question:I am wanting to buy a small indoor plant to have in my room but I'm not sure what to buy. I want something that looks good and is easy to care for. I live in Las Vegas, NV so that might affect what suggestions you give me. I would like something different then the average indoor plants as in another place in my apartment I have a small Moneytree. Would appreciate any advice. Would a Sago Palm be good?

Answers:
Many species of green stem bamboo plants. All you need is some rocks and water and bam, your done and don't need to do anything more but refill the water when its totally gone, which takes months, so you wont need to be doing it much. Also, it requires very little light so you can place it anywhere as long as it gets some light.

Spider plant; grows to the size you want, really, according to how much care you give, but essentially very easy to look after -I had one as a child.
Ivys they are very easy to care for when ever they start looking ruff water them and they perk right up.
sago palm would be good if it is in a sunny locale. sanseveria=snake's tongue, pothos, croton, peace lily
a cactus you can get them in all shapes and sizes and the great thing is you only have to water them once a month! also spider plants are good.

Venus Fly trap. You can feed them raw meat. It's like a dog that eats portions the size of a fly. They're also very interesting.
u could pick up a bamboo plant at costco. There always fun and ez to take care of
Listen. Lets be honest. We all know that a sago palm is the most pathetic plant you could buy.
Here in South Africa we have the best taste in indoor plants.
I have the perfect tree for you. Its called Durban Poizon. It is an awesome type of WEED that is bound to get you bouncing off the walls in no time.
