What slip cover should I buy? I have beige walls and my choices are white, beige, dark blue, light blue.?
Question:White somewhat scares me...I am not the neatest person. I am leaning towards dark blue would that work. I am also color blind...and need help.
Answers:
Unless you have a white animal that sheds, go with the dark blue.
Add a rug in dk. blue, beige, and another color. [ one you can see! ]
Get some throw pillows of prints in dk. blue, white, and the 3rd color.
Add a green plant, even if it is a fake, and it looks like you put some thought into the place!
You didn't mention the color of the floor, Dark blue would make a nice combination w/ beige.
dark blue would compliment the walls. sorry to hear about your colorbilnd-ness.
light blue if u like the colors of the ocean.
DARK BLUE
Get dark blue, that would work great with your walls and since your not the neatest person too...it works.
Just throw some accent pillows with it, to match the wall a little bit more. But whatever you like.
ew don't go with white. White slip covers always look filthy and go horribly with beige. Don't go with beige either... that is just too much beige and it is hard to match the exact shade of your walls.
I'd go with the dark blue. I guess light blue would be okay depending on the darkness of the beige... but to be safe I'd go with the dark blue.
first quetion, why do you have to go with these colors? if your walls are beige, i would go with earth tones perferably rust are dark browns since you say you are not a neat freak this will blend in perfectly with your wall colors. For added touches buy some oversized pillows in these different tones to give the sofa a new look then accessories around this.
i would go w/ the beige, and then accent it w/ contrasting pillows . eventhough your walls are beige, u may want to change, so just paint your walls again and buy new pillows.
but maybe u should get slip cover in both colors, it's probably cheaper then buying a new piece of furniture, and more fun too!
ok here is my analysis:L
Use white if you: want a crisp clean "luxury hotel" type of look
Dont use beige
Dont use light Blue
Use Dark Blue if you want: a nice bold contrast that wont get dirty easily!!
