Reupholstering?

Question:I'm having 2 chairs and a sofa reupholstered. The carpet is sage green and the walls are pale yellow. Is it preferable to have a print for the couch and the 2 chairs plain or vice versa?

I think I would have the couch plain and the chairs with a print and maybe repeat the print in a few throw pillows. My reasoning? A print goes a long way - and if you ever get tired of it - it's a lot cheaper to have a couple of chairs and pillow redone than a whole couch!
