How can i make my bathroom like a spa?

Question:i want my bathroom to be a place to just relax and unwind so how can i make it spa like? any links for cool stuff to put in it?

Answers:
I am newly married, and as my husband and I both like the clean relaxing look of a spa, we went with that. My suggestions are:
1. Use clean colors. Think white, blues, and greens, and browns. Spas tend to reflect nature, and even more common the ocean. We went with a white shower curtain with pale blue accented on it, and pure white towels. My mother was shocked, but we reminded her that bleach was invented for a reason!
2. Candles. I think white is the best choice here, and would be perfect surrounded by smooth stones.
3. You might want to put a CD player in a hidden place, such as under the sink, where you can play calming music.
4. The room should be well lit, hopefully with natural light. No harsh light. It should also be able to be made dark, and lit with candles after a long day.
5. Think pretty clear glass containers filled with various bath salts and oils. Arrange these on a shelf.
6. My best advice ever given to me is that anything sitting out should not have a label on it. Think hand soap dispensers instead of a bottle of Dial. It just makes everything look more like a place you would go rather than your home bathroom.

Hope this helps! I tried to suggest inexpensive ways, since I know sometimes we all can be on a budget with projects!

I found a great terry cloth waffle weave shower curtain at Target for about $20, have matching towels and floor rugs, all in white. (Love the bleachable factor!) Then all my accessories are stainless or chrome, one of those double towel bars with a shelf above, and lots of green plants! I try to keep a couple bud vases with Gerber Daisies in them too! Not to mention my candles in a rainbow of colors. Bright, airy, fluffy towels...so relaxing!
Well to make your bathroom more of a spa like retreat you have to make everything flow nicely. No clutter on the counter tops. I would start with a soothing paint color such as a sage green or light lavender. Make sure your bathroom is always clean, or else it will ruin the effect. Have fresh flowers all around the room and light some lightly scented candles to set the mood.
