What's a good color to paint my gameroom ?

Question:This will be the main tv room. Right now the doors downstairs are maroon. Any suggestions ? Thanks.

Answers:
I love bordeoux - it's like a very dark red. or even dark blue, they really give a nice ambience to any room but specially rooms that are used not as bed rooms!

beige or a sandy yellow.
Paint the whole room maroon and white. Go Aggies!!
I like a warm grey.
Plaid.
hunter green, it's sportman like
Its a gameroom, paint it something very bright. A orange sounds really good.
Okay. This may seem out of wack to you. But I have seen this.
Burgundy and Cream stripes (Stripes should be least 7 to 9 inches apart)
It looks fantastic. But only go 3/4s of the way down to the floor.
paint the rest in a Burgundy colour. It looks smashing.
However you will need a large mirror up against somewhere on the wall to make the room look larger and a few paintings or mementos on the wall
Bar would look great with a dart board etc somewhere and a few accessories as well.
Maybe a plant or two somewhere

Good luck
I think some Green with White!
are you planning on keeping the doors maroon?? if you are, maybe a soft or pale green!

red is a color that is related to warmth and fun and activity and excitement!! if you are a red person! i know i am not!

also, do you have a pool table?? sometimes it is good to concentrate on one object in the room, and design according to that!!

happy decorating!!!
