Is therea special pain should i use?

Question:i have a cinder block house and i want to paint it. its a light greenish blue now and i want to paint to a brown and light brown. my husband wants to paint the walls of the outside of hte house the dark brown to hide the cracks. and what is the best brand. i was thinking about haveing the house stuccoed but it would cost me around $5000 to do it. i already got a qoute for that. i live in florida and my house is not in complete sun either if that makes any difference. i just figured you would need some kind of special paint on cinder block to make it stick or whatever. thank you

Answers:
Seal any hairline cracks with special crack sealer from home depot or lowe's, then use a good outdoor houspaint.
We live in florida, and have always done it that way.
Check out Consumer reports suggestions for good housepaints.
All contractors charge alot more to do this. You could do it for alot less.

YES!!!!!!!!!...
you should ask a store like Home Depot or Lowe's for painting advice but there are two that I know of and that is Exterior and Interior paint. Exterior should be able to be used on any outdoor surface because it should be more durable because of weathering conditions it would have to stand up to.
