Are home stagers required to be accredited or certified?

Question:

Answers:
No, although it may help in getting clients.

I offer home staging and am not accredited or certified through any of the organizations and I have done okay by it. Of course, it is not my main business, so you really have to weigh the cost of the program over how much of your business is involved in it. I decided that the minimum $1,500.00 for at least 3 days of training (plus travel and lodging, because there is no place close to me) was not worth it.
