What do most people put above their cabinets in their kitchen to decorate?

Question:

Answers:
I have seen many decorating ideas in various homes. I am a Realtor. The ones I like best are simple and not too cluttery. Collections of related items are nice. Such as: pitchers (for water, tea, lemonade etc. can be very attractive and color coordinated to your decor. Do not use valuable baskets, the accumulation of cooking vapors with grease, smoke, etc. will ruin them. Wood objects have the same dilemma. Unique tins are quite nice and wash well. Enamel ware, crockery items, along with a few vases with flowers or greenery is nice. Go for it!

I have used wicker baskets and pottery. You could also store extra pots or bowls that aren't used much. Another idea is to use plants, probably silk, not real. In the house I live in now we had the cabinets made to go all the way to the ceiling.
I know a LOT of people do basket or flowers. I guess the best thing is what you do your kitchen in.
You can use greenery or empty vases. Also you could use bottles of whine.
I used old stuff...Old tins, baskets, vases, water jugs, milk jugs, books, cutlery. It looked really neat.
get a large attractive platter and buy a plate stand from k-mart
