My basement does not look nice but I am not sure what to do with it. Any suggestions on inexpensive designer?

I have never come cheap... nor does any designer I know. We do go to school for a number of years to become a designer. We pay to go to school and since most of us are self-employed, we have to take that into account.
Tell me, what is it that you do for a living? Can we get you for cheap?
i don't think u'll find one for cheap. They do come w/ a cost. mayb u can ck on http://www.hgtv.com @ Decorating Cents & c if they r taking rooms. U never know.
Meanwhile, what do u want done w/ u'r basement? Do u want it into a family rm/ game rm or what? Something to think about.
If u have cinder block walls... paint would help to start. U can always divide it off w/ screens or hire an carpenter to build sections of room in the basement. My dad did their own house. It looks totally different.
w/o any more info... all i can say.. try hgtv... or divide the basement up in rooms.. call carpenter... then go from there... like painting the walls.. etc..
