In a light bulb base, can a standard base be converted to a candelabra base?

Question:I have a chandelier which requires only candelabra base light bulbs and I want to use my fluorescent standard base bulb. I am wondering if there is a converter for standard to candelabra?

Thanks in advance.

Answers:
No, but you might be able to change the sockets. Disconnect the power, and remove one socket. An electrical supply store, or a good hardware store, sells the sockets. The wiring is basic, it's just a matter of getting the new socket to sit correctly. This will depend on how the light is made.
