pound the pavement.I am a contractor and as I agree with the above word of mouth scenario,that takes time, and why put all you egg s in one basket? My business is 80% new construction luxury homes and 10% remodels and 10% faux,so diversify your customer base and do that by pitching builders on you services,offer them a good price break for their exclusive business and do good work for them and soon other builders and remodelers will hear about you , but to get the ball rolling you have to meet with the builders,and for for every 10 you meet with and try to sell your services you will get 1 or 2.but do good work for those two and you will grow.
