I need to track down melamine shelves?

Question:Having no luck finding melamine shelves with these dimenstions:

14" x 60" x 3/4"

It seems as if these shelves are not typically made longer than 48".

I've tried three or four different searches on the internet with zero results.

The actual measurements needed are:

14" x 54" x 3/4"

I'm thinking that I could cut the length down if it were 60" long to 54".

If this is not available what is my next best option for supplying reasonable nice shelving to an office that will use these shelves in a closet?

The shelves will be used with a standard and bracket system.

If you go to Home Depot, you'll find very large pieces of melamine shelving that you'll be able to cut down to size.

But have you considered the wire rack shelving? It's so much lighter, easy to install, easy to keep clean, etc. And now, you can buy a special vinyl liner to place on them so small things don't drop through the cracks. We just did the archives in a law office with this shelving and it's great. It's also less hassle to install and less expensive...
