Wet room getting on my nerves?

Question:I have had a wet room fitted in my house. This is in place of the bathroom and is the only room in the house with the loo in it. I thought I would love it but it gets filthy all the time. My bathroom never got like this and I am not a dirty person. I clean it all the time. I just don't understand why it gets so dirty all the time. I hate it !

Does anyone else have a wet room and if so what do you think of it. Also does anyone have any good cleaning tips for a wet room because I find that I have to strip off to clean it cos I get soaked!

Answers:
a wet room is a bathroom with wall to wall and wall to floor seals, usually completely tiled and with no need for shower screens/curtains etc. Clean in the normal way but to keep it clean shower the walls down after every use, just like you should a shower screen/curtain to remove the soap scum.

what the crap is a wetroom?
my nanna has one, and when i stay at hers i hate, it too gets really dirty, and even just after ive cleaned it it looks dirty again. I would never have one now i know what they are like
To be quite honest i have not heard of a wet room and can not think why you would want one,is it like some sort of sauna or wet,can you not revert back to dry.
Oh what a shame. Perhaps you feel this way because it is so different and you have not got used to this new way of life.

As for cleaning I would have cleaned whilst I was still in the nudy but I'm sure that they must be other ways without you getting wet evey time.

I'm sure you will like it eventually you will have to anyway as it would have cost a great deal of money to install. I almost decided on a wet room but decided against it and had a big shower tray installed instead...magic.

You could always have a shower tray installed if you do not get used to it. It should not cost too much and you have everything else in place like the plumbing do you not.
My mate has one as he's disabled.
What do you mean by dirty.
Don't all bathrooms get dirty
Could you try cleaning it before you take your shower?
I've never heard of such a thing! I'd rather be dry.
try fitting a shower screen to stop the water splashing everwhere, just make sure any fixing holes are filled with mastic before you put any screws or bolts in. good luck
You could try using a squeegee after each cleaning or anytime the walls or large areas of the floor or walls get wet. This will let the surface areas dry faster, so there is less time for dirt and dust to adhere to the wet areas.
