Use marine pine... not just any thing or it will quickly warp. Also to protect your celing and walls, waterproof them first before putting the wood down. Steam will wreck your house if you dont protect it properly! Seal it with lots of varnish. A ceramic tile bench can be cold initially so consider wood, or heating from underneath, but bench style seating is deffinatelly the best option.

pine tongue and groove basically plenty of varnish too..there so easy to make only major cost is the steam generater and electrics go look around and take some ideas/measurments good luck
