Secret room? wut do i do?
Question:wenever i go up my stairs i always notice a bright light shining through a crack on one of da steps. i always thought it was shining through from da basment or laundry room downstairs. but once i went downstairs and turned off ALL da light is da house, i checked and da light was still shining through! where is it coming from?!! is it a secret room?? and y is da light ALWAYS shining? obviously we cant tear da wall or floor down 2 c wut is down there. but wut CAN i do? im dieing 2 no wut is down there
Answers:
there is a real possibility that if there is a mysterious light gleeming from the downstairs it very well could be the light that is shining fom the pilot light or burner light in the water heater from the low access lighting door. unless you just need to put down the meth pipe and step away from the holusinations. been there,done that,bought a "T" shirt!

I doubt that it is a secret room.but I can see why you might be suspicious. With all of the peeping toms and perverts in the world. Why don't you ask your folks about it?? I am assuming you are young simply by the way you worded your question. If you have wooden steps.remove the step that the light is coming through...problem solved.you will have an answer!! Have your parents or a friend rent afiber-optic camera (a very tiny camera on a slim "arm") that will fit through the hole. You may have to use an electric or battery powered drill to make the hole a bit bigger, but these cameras are so small & show you what's going on "right now" (no developing, etc) ! Check on-line to see if you can find a camera like that and you'll be able to see what's in the space!
Many older homes have secret rooms & if you have an older house you may have a secret room! You should be able to find the access point if you search enough!

You wouldn*t have to tear down a wall; just remove one of the step boards or risers to see where the light is coming from. Maybe from a neighbors apt next door to you?
