I have a medium green couch, dark brown others, and green plants... what color should I paint the walls?

Question:I'm not good at this ... any ideas. I was thinking a dark Terra Cota (sp), but I would love to hear some ideas! Thanks.

Answers:
Yellow, Slate Gray, or both.

A warm beige colour would offset the strong colours in your furniture.
I'm thinking a medium khaki would look nice.

Sherwin Williams has a great web site where you can play with the different colors on the walls. I painted mine Relaxed Khaki and I have sage carpet and brown couches... it looks great. :)
I hope this will help. seeing as how you have a lot of natural colors, Iwould pick a natural neutral color, such as a light khaki offset. If you put a dark color on the wall, be prepared to have abundant lighting. Dark colors on walls will effect the mood of it's inhabitants!! Lighter colors such as an eggshell white will also highlight any dark colors that are in the room! If you choose a neutral color, (any store that sales paint will have brochures and paint samples of these colors), you will give your room accessory options a broad space to make changes to the room!! (because you know that you will change it around again one day!)
