Can you still buy the coloured dry paint you add to white emulsion paint to make your own coloured paint?

Question:

Answers:
Cheaper way to do it - buy some childrens powdered poster paint mix in the colour you want - add gradually to the paint to get the shade - all waterbased so does not cause problems - Works a treat as my son's bedroom will testify - all walls are different bright colours (his choice by the way)

I buy my paint at a paint store.

They have color choices and use a tube of color and mix with white paint.

They also have a shaker machine that mixes it well.

They keep a record of my formula that I choose.

It is the very best paint and it is worth it.

It lasts at the very least 10 years or more.

It covers better too.
take a colour sample to b&q they can mix it the same
focus diy store used to sell a syringe of colour to add to white paint but this was a couple of years ago, im not sure if they still do now.
I was in a paint store and saw tubes (like toothpaste ) of very powerful primary colours. Red, Blue, Very bright yellow, specifically for adding to paint at home. Biggest problem was that they they were expensive, and it would have been better to have had them mixed in-store on their machine.
Your problem will come when trying to match. Better go to a decorators' shop and let them mix the colour you need - they would then know the formula to match it at a later date.
