Any ideas for a bathroom?
Question:Okay so I just moved into my apt and need some ideas as to what to put up on my BLANK bathroom walls. Like what kind of pictures do u put in a bathroom? Any other ideas??

Beaches, seashells, anything in light or pastel blue.
I have a lighthouse theme.
What do you like? What do you already have?
If you have a shower curtain with flowers, frame a set of three-four close-ups of individual flowers.
If you have a jungle motif, do head shots of jungle animals.
Do framed prints of old ads for beauty products [ lipstick, powder, perfume for girl or shaving cream, after shave, and hair cream for a guy ]
My son just re-did his hall bathroom with Star-Wars posters, and a poster of Spiderman, upside down, taking your picture - you can only see it as you step out of the tub! Surprise!

a lighthouse theme is pretty cool... another is sort of a bottom of the ocean type.. idk, host a housewarming party and ask for ideas; thats the better way because people will come and give you food
shells. stones in a clear bowl w/ a tealight or candle sticking out. or u can put shells in it as well or mixed. ocean scenery... fish... My bath is a beach theme... i have boat rope draped from a looks like boat anquors then netting over that over the windows for a valance. ( small windows & high) then i have glued sea shells in the netting. I also have netting hanging on the wall w shells & a few canvas pix of the ocean inside a frame that is too big for it but jst sits in there w/ a big starfish. I have glass fish tealight holders on the bathroom ledge...
so some of things like that.. wicker or ratan goes well w/ beach themes... or distressed esp w/ lighthouses.

I have shells and drift wood in my bathroom too and have done it a bit more natural/rustic feel. I have black and white hand drawn illustration type pictures of outhouses. A grouping of 3 5x7s. One of them is an outhouse at a lake shore. I also have a small wreath made of twigs and additional small etched glass mirrors with reeds.
A friend of mine has an Asian theme that is very nice as well. She bought cool Asian masks from target and hung them on the wall along with a picture of and Asian garden.
Generally what ever you do in a bathroom you need to do on a smaller scale than you would do in any other room because, well most bathrooms are smaller. :) Good luck
