Am I asking a reasonable price for my house?
Question:

the quick answer is probably not. If you were, you wouldn't be asking in an open forum. The best way to determine market value, the same way appraisal companies and realtors do...is to check to see what other similar homes have sold for in your area/neighborhood/school district in the last 1-6 months. If you have time to sell, price it 10-15% higher than similar sales average. If you need to sell quickly, price it 10-15% under the average sale price for similar homes.
I nearly peed my pants when I read the other answer about "how long is this string?" but seriously, you are asking too much for your house
If you are asking for what it is worth, then you are reasonable.
To answer this as it deserves,
What is your asking price.
What is it's value.
Location etc
And it helps to ask a fraction higher, buyers will always talk you down in price :)
Your question is so open ended and unspecific that I am astounded. It is like asking how long is a piece of string. And yet I believe I understand what you mean. Are you feeling anxious because you need security and safety? I am guessing that you need reassurance. My answer is yes. If you can afford to keep your house until someone offers you all the money you want for it then by all means do so. You are on intimate terms with your own place, it gives you shelter and security, Don't stop believing. Hold on to the feeling.
go to zillo.com and get your house value remember you will get only what someone is willing to pay right now it' a buyers market
Hi You did not provide enough information to answer this question. Depending where you live, the market is really not a good time to sell. Have a real estate agent give you some address's in your nieghborhood that recently sold and see what they got...good luck
